Ichthys Modular is a Eurorack case company based in Missouri. I started Ichthys Modular to create customizable, yet affordable Eurorack cases, lowering the barrier to entry for Eurorack.
One of the challenges of Eurorack is that it is a niche market, which means Eurorack products are usually made in small runs. This means Eurorack products, including cases, are often more expensive than comparable non-modular synth products that are manufactured at a largescale.
3d printing helps bridge this gap by allowing manufacture of small runs of products without the need to invest in expensive scalable technologies, such as injection molds.
